Lac Solace

Lac Solace has very quickly established its self as a top small water big carp venue.

The stunning natural lake, the nature and the chilled out #solacevibe has meant that we are a destination that many many big carp anglers are looking forward to coming back to or visiting for the first time over the next few seasons.

The lake is 3 acres, but to many feels much bigger, there is plenty of room for 3 anglers to have their own water and features to go at without stepping on your mates toes. The 6 swims are evenly dotted around the lake, meaning that you can have a social on the same bank, or split up and effectively cover the lake and features. There isn't really a going swim, or a stand out hotspot, fished well and conditions depending every swim has it's day across the coarse of a season.

Lac Solace is a shallow lake, with an average depth of around 4.5ft, this makes the fishing very exciting as the watchers among you will regularly see the water rocking or the weed parting as another chunk glides through the swim and it will definitely get the pulse racing when the water seems to drop away, the fizz hits the surface and the buzzer sounds. It also means that care needs to be taken, the shallow water means that noise and disturbance is magnified, so keep that in mind.

Shallow Water

The shallow water at Lac Solace gives you a great opportunity to put the shorts or waders on and take time to find that perfect spot. It also means that playing and landing fish in the weedier swims is simple and safe.

The swims

The Lac Solace swims are evenly spread around the lake to ensure anglers can control and access every area of the lake without having to fish too long and have lines booming out across the lake.
